Patrice Gopo

Bio:

 Patrice Gopo is the child of Jamaican immigrants, and she was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Her essays have appeared in a variety of literary journals and other publications, including online in The New York Times and The Washington Post. Her radio commentaries have been broadcast on WFAE 90.7, and she is a 2017-2018 North Carolina Arts Council Literature Fellow. She and her family have lived in Charlotte for nearly eight years. All the Colors We Will See is her first book.

Book Synopsis:

 In All the Colors We Will See, Patrice Gopo seamlessly moves across borders of space and time to create vivid portraits of how the reality of being different affects her quest to belong.
